Inspired by rainy, mossy forests, the Lord of the Rings films, and poetry; I'm an adventurous soul and a deep passion for true love. I'm drawn to capturing wildly intimate moments for all couples, while honoring the earth with Leave No Trace ethics.
Beyond photographing, I absolutely enjoy helping my couples dream up their wedding day plans. Not sure where to say your vows? I'm your location matchmaker. Want to keep it just the two of you? I'm not only your photographer, but also a certified wedding officiant. Need guidance with vendors or ideas for activities? Count me in! From the first spark of planning to the final gallery delivery- I've got you.
When I'm not behind the lens or editing love stories, you'll likely find me wandering through art museums, getting lost in the romantasy section of a bookstore, reading one of my many books, searching for treasures in antique shoppes, tending to my garden, planning my next overseas adventure, or hiking with. my husband and our three rescue pups. My husband and I eloped in the mountains of Colorado back in 2018, and traveling the world together is still our favorite thing. Someday, we. hope to settle down in a little stone cottage among the Highlands in Scotland (one can dream, right?)

To date I've traveled out of state dozens of times to document love stories and across the Atlantic Ocean many times for elopements. I'm so stoked to be able to do what I love in beautiful places in and outside of Michigan, and around the globe. Additionally I placed in Hour Magazine's Best of Detroit 2022 and the same year, won Best Detroit Photographer again from Channel 4 news and in 2023 won Junebug Wedding's Best of the Best Wedding Photograph.

One year into my business I was nominated and won "Best Detroit Wedding Photographer" from Channel 4 news. In 2021 I had my first adventure elopement in Oregon, first destination intimate wedding in Vermont and fully booked up my year with couple's love stories.

The pandemic began and so did my business- weird timing, right? Thankfully this allowed me to jump right into building my business. In the spring I was asked to photograph my first elopement. It was ROUGH but let me tell you- thanks to them coming to me with this idea I am where I am today and couldn't be more grateful. I also became a certified officiant for my elopement couples + registered as an LLC.

Yep! That's right. I've been a landscape photographer for as long as I can remember (all the way back to the mini polaroid photos) and someone loved my photos so much they asked me to photograph their sister's senior photos_ I said "sure but I have NO idea what I'm doing!!" It went so well I decided to try my luck with photographing people on a trip to Iceland, and fell in love.
